BRIGHT NOW ARCHIVE
June 17, 2007
Bright Pink kicked off the summer by joining together with Exhale Spa (www.ExhaleSpa.com) for a fabulous Yoga Bash and Shopping Soiree event in Chicago on Thursday, June 14 th. According to the National Cancer Institute, most evidence suggests that physical activity reduces breast cancer risk in both premenopausal and postmenopausal women. Yoga, in particular, not only promotes psychological well-being, but seems to offer immune system benefits, as well. Thus, the partnership between the trendy yoga spa dedicated to helping individuals live centered, healthy lives and Bright Pink, an organizationd dedicated to encouraging young women to be proactive with their health was a natural fit. The trendy affair included a shopping soiree and invigorating vinyasa flow yoga class enhanced with the sounds of rock, reggae, hip hop and world beat music. The party began with guests enjoying light sandwiches, pink mojitos and martinis, while shopping for fashionable workout clothes and getting pink polish changes. Then, guests worked up a sweat with a memorable yoga experienceand had a fantastic time. Thank you to everyone who joined together to make the event a success.
