AMBER TRIVEDI, MS
GENETIC COUNSELOR, DIVISION OF REPRODUCTIVE GENETICS
NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, FEINBERG SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Amber Trivedi is the genetic counselor for the Northwestern Ovarian Cancer Early Detection and Prevention Program, and also serves on the faculty of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling. Ms. Trivedi received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Biology from the Johns Hopkins University, and she earned her Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from Northwestern University. Prior to her genetic
counseling career, Ms. Trivedi worked as a research coordinator for breast cancer clinical trials at UCLA and Northwestern University. She has a special research interest in the unique needs of young women at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer, and how this risk factors
into family planning and relationships.
