DEBORAH LINDNER, MD

Deborah S. Lindner, M.D. completed her medical school training at the University of Iowa College of Medicine, during which time she also studied abroad as an Oxford University Scholar. Dr. Lindner has a longstanding interest in global health, and has worked in both the Philippines and Rwanda to target health care to the specific needs of women. During her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, she developed her interest in minimally invasive surgery. Her special interests include gynecologic surgery and management of women at high risk for breast and ovarian cancer based on their family history. She is now an Obstetrician/Gynecologist with the Women's Group of Northwestern. "I value open physician-patient communication and strive to offer my patients the most up-to-date medical information," said Dr. Lindner, "I want women to be empowered to make educated decisions about their own health care." Dr. Lindner lives in downtown Chicago and enjoys running marathons and cooking for her friends and family.
