Joan Hilson joined American Eagle Outfitters in September 2005 as Senior Vice President, Finance. Ms. Hilson is a CPA and has brought 25 years of diverse financial experience to her role at American Eagle, including merchandise level planning and allocation. Prior to joining AEO, Ms. Hilson held several Finance positions with Limited Brands, most recently, Executive Vice President and CFO, for the Victoria’s Secret stores division. Ms. Hilson leads the strategy, financial and merchandise planning & allocation functions at American Eagle. She brings strong discipline in inventory and expense management, as well as margin optimization.She is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and has recently relocated to Pittsburgh with her husband, Dan, a government relations attorney and her two children.
