LIZ PERRI
DIRECTOR OF PEER SUPPORT


Liz Perri earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, where she is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree. Her specialization is in health psychology, and her interests include psychotherapy with various medical populations, pain management, rehabilitation, and neuropsychological assessment. Liz is completing her dissertation on the emotional aspects of being at high risk for breast cancer. She is currently an extern at the Cancer Wellness Center in Northbrook, Illinois, where she conducts individual and group therapy with cancer patients and their families. As a woman at high risk for breast cancer based on family history, she has been involved with Bright Pink since early 2007. As Director of Peer Support, Liz has overseen the development of the PinkPal™ program.
