RACHEL NATHAN

Rachel Nathan earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Rachel has recently completed a Master’s degree in Child Development from the Erikson Institute and is currently pursuing a second Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Loyola University. Following an internship at Virginia Frank Child Development Center, working with children with profound social and emotional concerns, Rachel has recently begun her final internship at the University of Chicago Hospital on their NICU (neonatal intensive care unit), supporting families in their decisions resulting from medical hardships. As a woman at high risk for breast cancer based on family history, she has been involved with Bright Pink since 2006 and is excited about her new role as Director of Outreach for the Chicago area.
